ABOUT
Abhishek is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of St Andrews. He joined the University of St Andrews as a Newton International Research Fellow in 2018, where he worked on donor-acceptor based TADF materials for OLEDs and photodynamic therapy.
He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, India on the research topic ‘new Schiff base derivatives as fluorescence chemosensor, NIR emitters and catalysis’. He has extensive research experience on the development of TADF materials, fabrication of OLEDs, advanced optoelectronics measurements, fluorescent sensors, and catalysts.
Currently, his research focuses on blue to NIR donor-acceptors and multi-resonant TADF materials for diverse applications such as highly efficient OLEDs and sensors.
