ABOUT

Laura was born in Scunthorpe, England and obtained her Master's degree with a year abroad (USA) from the University of Leicester in 2019.

She stayed in Leicester to do a PhD in the Pulis group, developing borane catalysis for the synthesis of amines. During this time, she also carried out a short placement in the Slootweg group (UvA) investigating frustrated radical pairs.

In 2024, Laura joined the Ingleson group as a PDRA looking at fluorination strategies using boron-based Lewis acids.
