ABOUT

Mathew was born in Sheffield, England, and obtained his MChem degree from the University of Sheffield in 2020, with a final year project on energetic linkers from MOFs with Dr Peter Portius.

He then moved to the University of York to study for a PhD in the group of Prof. Andrew Weller, working on developing rapid transition metal catalysts for production of the boron-nitrogen based polymers polyaminoboranes.

In 2025 Mathew joined the group of Prof. Mike Ingleson at the University of Edinburgh to work on boron containing OLED emitters.
