ABOUT

Simon King completed his first degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Durham in 2004, before continuing to study for a PhD in Photophysics of OLED materials under Professor Andy Monkman. Simon then joined Cambridge Display Technology (a subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical  Company Ltd.) initially developing OLED materials for display and lighting applications. Since then he has held a number of positions developing new projects and investigating novel materials across the Energy, Environment and IT business sectors.

Simon is currently Director, Research and Innovation for CDT, where he holds responsibility for the development of new projects and materials for CDT and its parent company.
